My name is Shengyeng. I was born and raised here in Madison, WI. My intended majors are Asian Studies and Communication Arts-Film with a certificate in Digital Studies. I am a PEOPLE scholar and received the scholarship through a program called ITA (Information Technology Academy.)
I take part in Okinawan Taiko Drumming and am part of the campus group called Anaguma Eisa. We are affiliated with the group from West High School. The best part is that there's an annual trip to DC to perform for the Cherry Blossom Parade, as pictured above. It's a tiring five days, but so worth the while!
