Hey folks,
Inspired by our 346 class, and our discussion of search engines being used to adapt to our exact personalities and intentions, I started thinking about one of my favorite Mad Magazine stories, from 1952, Blobs. It features one of my favorite fictional devices "The Thought Viewer" which I have thought about more times that I could possibly count since I first read the story a million years ago. Anywho, I thought it tied in neatly with a lot of the stuff we had been discussing in our post-industrialism unit, and it's generally something I like to share. It really doesn't get a lot better than early Mad.
Also it might bare a resemblance to a certain sci-fi Pixar film from 2008!

Not sure why I'm reading this at 3am, but yeah, definitely lots of Wall-E in there.
